[ it's very hard to reconcile the screaming boy earlier with this energetic wolf. they're two different beings, really, and Isaac reaches out to scratch one of the wolf's ear at the knee nudge. he's much like a dog, and in some ways Isaac envies that. at least he can get away looking like something different, where as if Isaac changes he's just a deformed version of himself.

Isaac slides to put his back against the door. it's the only exit and he's not going to let the wolf even think about getting out. the growl, however, sounds protective, warning, and Isaac gives a growl of his own. ]
