i witnessed a crime, one of my friends get murdered.
but things were weird so i didn't remember.
they had to bring me to a point of near death or whatever to try and get access to them.
some vet witch magic that deaton had. it worked.
werewolves can withstand a lot though so it wasn't easy.
i don't really remember what happened when i was being held under the water but they asked me questions.
turns out seeing one of your good friends die is pretty shitty.

[It's a weird story he doesn't totally understand, but Davesprite kind of hopes Isaac didn't remember seeing his friend die after whatever bullshit ritual he went through; he's not exactly a stranger to seeing his friends die himself and, yeah, it is really fucking shitty.]

one of the gods would just bring you back after a few hours

so it didnt really matter that i got killed
its just something that happened
